WordPress Plugins are an amazing way to add new functionality and features to your website. If you are not familiar with plugins, think of them as apps on your phone. Apps will give your phone new features and abilities and plugins will do just the same for your website. Downloading plugins are also as easy as downloading apps from the app store.

There are currently 50,000 different WordPress plugins to chose from. Some of them work great with every website and some have very specific functions that aren’t applicable to every website. So out of these 50,000 plugins available, which ones must you have installed on your website?

Yoast is free to install, but there is a paid premium version if that interests you. 

Elementor

If you are not familiar with how to build a WordPress website, it can be pretty intimidating at first. Elementor is a WordPress plugin that solves this problem. Installing elementor will give your WordPress website a drag and drop builder that is very user friendly. You can easily add text boxes, photo galleries, contact forms, buttons, videos, etc. Elementor also comes with 300+ designer made templates, meaning you don’t have to worry about building a website from the ground up. When you chose a template to work with, you can edit and aspect of to meet your needs with the drag and drop builder. It also allows you to view  your website on what it would look like on a mobile device. Elementor has a free version, but there is a paid version that gives you more drag and drop options and templates to chose from.

Duplicate Page

Trying to keep your color scheme and format consistent throughout your website can be fairly tedious depending on how many pages you website has. This WordPress plugin provides a very simple function to solve this problem. It is called Duplicate Page and it is exactly what is sounds like. This plugin will give you the option to duplicate an existing page on your website. When you duplicate a page, it will create an exact copy of that page and save it as a draft. From there, you are able to edit and change the content of that page without having to go back and forth between each page to see if you have the correct color code or not. Keep in mind to change the permalink when you do this though. This plugin is also free to use!
